Rachel M. Straight, APRN

Rachel Straight MSN, APRN is a Nurse Practitioner in the Division of Hematology and Hematologic Malignancies at the University of Utah Huntsman Cancer Hospital. She practices as an Advanced Practice Clinician on the inpatient hematology/BMT unit and currently serves as the Inpatient APC Education Lead. As an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, her clinical interests include acute leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma and other hematologic malignancies.

She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and began her nursing career at the James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Rachel worked as a registered nurse on a dedicated acute leukemia unit for 5 years and obtained a Masters of Science in Nursing from The Ohio State University in 2018. Rachel moved to Utah in the summer of 2018 and joined the inpatient hematology/BMT team at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital.
