Dr. Raquel Maynez is a pediatric resident at the University of Utah. She grew up in Arizona and moved to Salt Lake City to earn her undergraduate degree in Biology. She fell in love with Utah and stayed for medical school at the University of Utah, where she graduated with membership to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and Gold Humanism Honor Society. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, crocheting, basketball, tennis, and watching movies at the Salt Lake Film Society.
