Shelbi Green, DNP, FNP-BC specializes in pediatric otolaryngology in the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at University of Utah Health. She began her healthcare career as a nurse in 2018, with experience in the operating room as a circulating nurse, often assisting in ENT cases. Now a board-certified nurse practitioner, Shelbi appreciates the unique blend of medicine and surgery within the specialty and values the opportunity to care for children and their families. She finds it rewarding to help improve patients' quality of life.

Shelbi was born in St. George and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees from Weber State University in Ogden Utah. During her nurse practitioner training, she completed her pediatric clinical rotations at Primary Children’s Hospital Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic.

Outside of work, Shelbi enjoys training and competing in dressage with her horse, Ever So Clever. She also loves reading and spending time outdoors.
