Dr. Thomas Anderson, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine as well as adjunct faculty in the Department of Radiology at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He studied Cellular Biology and Spanish for his undergraduate degree at Utah State University. He completed his medical training, including medical school, Internal Medicine Residency, Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship, and Advanced Cardiac Imaging Fellowship all at the University of Utah School of Medicine.

Dr. Anderson is a general cardiologist who treats patients with a wide variety of cardiovascular conditions. His clinical emphasis is the application of advanced imaging techniques in cardiac MRI and CT for diagnosis of rare diseases and for cardiovascular prevention. He is also interested in medical education and is involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
