  • Wayne Samuelson, M.D. is a Professor of Medicine (Clinical) at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He received both B.A. (Sociology) and M.D. degrees from the University of Utah. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Pulmonary Disease at Duke University Medical Center. At the completion of his fellowship training he joined the faculty in the Division of Allergy, Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine of the Department of Internal Medicine at Duke. He returned to the University of Utah in 1995, joining the faculty of the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Respiratory, Critical Care and Occupational Pulmonary Medicine. He is the medical director of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program. His clinical interests focus on the management of asthma patients.
