chocolate peanut butter protein balls

Nothing beats the mix of dark chocolate and peanut butter…except maybe adding a hint of coconut. You get it all in this delicious snack. Feel free to get the kiddo’s involved in the action for this easy hands-on recipe. This snack has it all with a great balance of protein, healthy fats, and carbohydrate to keep you moving.

They may be small, but don’t let the size fool you, these little morsels are packed with flavor and much needed energy to get you to your next meal or help you recover after a workout. Pop these in the fridge for an easy snack you and your family can enjoy for the entire week!

Protein Balls Ingredients

2 cups old fashion oats
¾ cup peanut butter
¼ cup honey
3 tbsp. hemp hearts
3 tbsp. chocolate chips
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
2 tbsp. shredded unsweetened coconut

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
  2. Form into one-inch balls.
  3. Sprinkle with shredded coconut to garnish.

Makes 16-20 protein balls. Serving size: 2 balls
