Our Partners

Ascent Academy West Valley

Ascent Academies of Utah's network of charter schools utilize the Schoolwide Enrichment Model to build a strong educational foundation and to provide an enriching, individualized, and varied educational experience to all students. Our network of schools combines the Schoolwide Enrichment Model’s (SEM) research-based strategies with curriculum and instructional methods aligned to the Utah Core Curricula in order to provide students throughout the network with engaging learning opportunities.

It is our hope that our families and community will take advantage of this Healthy Start event to promote personal well-being and learn about resources available to them to help students and families in our community be successful.

Hillside Elementary

Hillside Elementary serves nearly 500 students and is situated amidst a vibrant, caring, diverse community. Many of our students come from families with significant socio-economic challenges and there are several additional languages spoken in many homes, with Spanish being the most predominate.

At Hillside Elementary we  believe that the home is the first and most important learning space for children. We want to partner with families to make sure children have all they need to learn and grow in every way. This health fair is a wonderful way to bring community services into our neighborhood to help children get a healthy start on learning during this new school year.

Hunter Elementary

Hunter Elementary is a K-5 elementary school. The mission of Hunter Elementary is to prepare all students to leave our school ready for secondary education. We build a school community based on respect, dependability, communication, responsibility, hard work, and resilience.

Our teachers actively participate in professional learning to continuously engage students in relevant learning opportunities. We foster a welcoming and safe learning environment for all who enter our school. We strive to engage families in their student’s learning by connecting families with resources, hosting family education events, and encouraging volunteers in the school.
