This event offers Breast & Gynecologic Cancers Center (BGCC) trainees, the next generation of researchers, an opportunity to present their research to BGCC advocates. This meeting provides a unique environment for researchers to present their work to committee advocates with a focus on communicating the scope and impact of their findings to a lay audience. In showcasing this process, this symposium aims to highlight engagement between patients and researchers.

This mini-symposium features six presentations and one poster session on breast and gynecologic cancers from BGCC doctoral students, postdocs, and staff scientists. Registration is not required, but on-site attendees will need to wear a face-mask.

This new Project Next Symposium is made possible through the generous support of all four CCSG Programs co-leaders: Martin McMahon, PhD, and Howard Colman, MD, PhD, from Experimental Therapeutics; Jared Rutter, PhD, and Jay Gertz, PhD, from Nuclear Control; Sheri Holmen, PhD, and Trudy Oliver, PhD, from Cell Response and Regulation; and Jennifer Doherty, MS, PhD, and Kathleen Mooney, PhD, RN, FAAN, from Cancer Control and Population Sciences.
