Each June, Founders' Week celebrates the efforts of Jon M. Huntsman Sr and many others who turned an empty hillside into a vibrant community dedicated to eradicating cancer. HCI faculty, staff, students, and providers are invited to come together as one community and celebrate our beginning, history, and future.

At Huntsman Cancer Institute we provide compassionate care and groundbreaking innovations in cancer research. We embody hope, illuminate paths to healing, and make a difference in the lives of those we serve. This Founders' Week we reflect on those who dreamed what could be possible—transforming an empty hillside into a comprehensive cancer campus, to expanding our local impact to the broader region and beyond—and we celebrate everyone who continues to work towards our mission to deliver a cancer-free frontier. Including you.

HCI is growing, and we are thrilled about the opportunity to continue to serve our community in new ways. Due to the many exciting happenings this week, we have decided to cancel voting for the Video Contest event. But worry not! We still look forward to seeing many of you as we watch "Day in the Life" video entries and enjoy some treats. In the spirit of giving back to our community, we will also be providing supplies to assemble activity packs for our patients and caregivers. We appreciate your understanding as we make this small change to our planned activity.

A heartfelt thank you to all the participants who submitted their "Day in the Life" video entries. Each employee who submitted an entry will receive a prize. The HCI communications team will contact you directly.
