New CAR-T Target Yields Promising Results for Multiple Myeloma
Too many patients with cancers like multiple myeloma relapse after treatment. This grim reality motivated researchers at HCI to try to improve the depth and durability of treatment response in multiple myeloma through a new cancer cell targeting mechanism. In research published in the journal Nature Communications, HCI scientists describe a novel way to treat cancers using chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy.

The International Chronic Myeloid Leukemia Foundation (iCMLf) has awarded the prestigious Rowley Prize to Michael Deininger, MD, PhD.
