The Biorepository and Molecular Pathology is a shared resource that is managed by HCI and is supported by the Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG). The BMP Shared Resource is overseen by HCI Senior Leader Neli Ulrich, PhD. The anatomic pathology work of the BMP is guided by Medical Director, Eric Snyder, MD, PhD. The daily operations of the Biorepository section are overseen by Chris Fillmore, PhD. Blake Anderson, HTL (ASCP) is the lead of the Research Histology section and John O'Shea, PhD is responsible for the daily operations of the Molecular Diagnostics Section. In addition, Faculty Advisory Committees for the Biorepository and Molecular Diagnostics Sections of the BMP Shared Resource provide additional guidance and oversight.

In July of 2013, Neli Ulrich, PhD was appointed as the Senior Leader responsible for overseeing the BMP Core.

BMP Shared Resource Medical Director Eric Snyder, MD, PhD

Dr. Eric Snyder, MD PhD, is an Assistant Professor in Anatomic Pathology and became the BMP Medical Director at the beginning of 2016. Dr. Snyder received his MD, PhD at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, and completed his Residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital, as well as a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Snyder's research interests include cellular regulation mechanisms during cancer progression.
