Our Services

Our downtown women's clinic cares for women and girls age 12 through the senior years. We offer comprehensive, high-quality OB/GYN care in a convenient downtown location.

We are also one of the only OB/GYN clinics in the country that offers physical therapy. Our physical therapists help women strengthen their pelvic floor muscles after giving birth, having cancer, or as they age.

We understand that choosing a women's health provider is an important, careful decision. All our providers are women who offer personalized, confidential care, so you can feel confident and comfortable at the doctor's office.

We offer the following services:

  • gynecologic surgery
  • gynecology
  • labor & delivery
  • midwife services
  • obstetrics (pregnancy care)

Same-Day Appointments

We also offer same-day appointments if you have urgent gynecologic problems.

Obstetrics & Gynecology

From routine exams to complex gynecological problems, our obstetrics and gynecology specialists care for your uterus, vagina, and ovaries. Our specialists provide a wide range of services from regular health screenings to family planning and contraceptive management.

We also offer a full range of obstetrics services for pregnant women, including 20-week ultrasounds.

Labor & Delivery

Choosing where to deliver your baby is an important decision. Some women want to give birth closer to home. Our new partnership with Salt Lake Regional allows women to give birth in downtown Salt Lake City at Salt Lake Regional Medical Center.

Salt Lake Regional offers extra parking and newly remodeled delivery rooms so you can be more comfortable during labor.

Our labor specialists also support your decision to give birth with or without medication.

Certified Nurse Midwives

Did you know that midwives guide you through labor and delivery? They can also manage gynecological screenings, breast health, and family planning.

Certified nurse midwives are registered nurses who have extra training from an accredited midwifery program. They are board-certified by the American College of Nurse Midwives. Our nurse midwives provide comprehensive women's health care.

Gynecologic Surgery

We understand that gynecologic surgery procedures can be stressful. Some women prefer to have their medical treatment close to home. Our gynecologic specialists provide safe, high-quality procedures in the comfort of your home community.

We also perform as many procedures as possible with minimally invasive surgery using laparoscopy. During laparoscopies, doctors make small incisions to perform your surgery so you can have a faster and easier recovery.

We offer cervical biopsy, colposcopy, LEEP, and endometrial ablation. This is a type of procedure that helps treat excess—or heavy—bleeding.

Physical Therapy

Many women have weakness in their pelvic floor muscles after giving birth. These muscles can also weaken after having cancer or as you age. Pelvic floor weakness can cause pain, sexual problems, and urinary and bowel problems.

Using preventive care, our physical therapists help women strengthen these muscles. Our therapists teach Pilates, a low-impact exercise that uses smooth movements. Pilates can help retrain, build, and strengthen pelvic floor muscles that weaken over time. Pilates can also help expecting moms stay active during pregnancy.

Physical Therapy During Your Pregnancy

We are one of the only OB/GYN clinics in the country that offers a physical therapy pilot program for pregnant women. This program helps women prevent pelvic floor weakness after giving birth. Our physical therapists examine pregnant women every 14-18 weeks, and then again 6 weeks after giving birth.

We also treat abdominal separation after pregnancy. This is when the muscles in your stomach become misshapen after giving birth.

Health Coaching

Health coaching can help women achieve a balanced, healthy lifestyle. Our health coach helps patients undo unhealthy behaviors that develop over months or years. Health coaching is free for all our patients.

Usually, our health coach treats women who are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or going through menopause. But coaching services are available for all patients. Using an individual approach, our coach helps patients with:

  • weight management,
  • nutrition,
  • physical activity and exercise;
  • mindfulness and meditation; and
  • sleep.
