Substance Use Disorder Care & Services for Pregnant Women
The Substance Use & Pregnancy—Recovery, Addiction, and Dependence (SUPeRAD) Clinic supports pregnant women with a substance use disorder. Our team of experts offer compassionate, supportive care. We care for people who are planning to get pregnant, are pregnant, or who had a pregnancy within the past year. Our clinic is a safe place where you feel comfortable and respected. Our goal is to help you meet your goals for care during and after your pregnancy for up to one year.

Our Services
Pregnancy & Postpartum Care
- Prenatal care with individualized care plans
- Care coordination with other specialties, such as heart care, mental health, social work, and resource management
- Infectious disease testing and treatment for HIV, Hepatitis B and C, syphilis, chlamydia, and gonorrhea
- Pediatric consultation for neonatal opioid withdrawal syndrome
- Contraception care based on each person’s individual family planning goals
- Postpartum care through one year after giving birth, an especially vulnerable time for people with substance use addiction
- Gynecology care with trauma-informed providers (trained to recognize trauma and prevent re-traumatization)
Substance Use & Addiction Care
- Harm reduction support
- Medication for opioid use disorder
- Buprenorphine including extended-release buprenorphine
- Naltrexone
- Methadone through outpatient treatment programs (not prescribed through SUPeRAD)
