When you choose LASIK surgery at the John A. Moran Eye Center, you have the confidence that your eyes are being cared for by world-renowned surgeons using state-of-the-art technology. As part of our commitment to providing patients with the best care and outcomes available, the Moran Eye Center now offers the WaveLight® Refractive Suite.

The suite features the WaveLight® EX500 Excimer Laser, the WaveLight® FS200 Femtosecond Laser, and a swiveling patient bed. This advanced system provides the world's fastest and most precise LASIK experience.

More Comfortable LASIK Surgery

LASIK surgery involves the use of two lasers: the first to create a corneal flap and a second to shape the cornea to provide clear vision. Previously, patients undergoing LASIK had to stand up and walk between two lasers. Now, the patient remains in a reclining position and the bed is gently swiveled between pieces of equipment.

Beyond Glasses & Contacts

Glasses and contacts are limited in their ability to correct unique imperfections in each individual's vision. In fact, thousands of individuals have the same prescription. With the WaveLight® Refractive Suite, however, no two prescriptions are identical. This precise level of measurement and treatment can enable you to achieve the full potential of your vision.

What Is the WaveLight® Refractive Suite?

The WaveLight® features the fastest laser time of any laser on the market, as well as the broadest range of customized, patient-specific treatments. WaveLight® technology allows your surgeon to create a personalized treatment plan, with treatment options that take into account your unique visual needs, for your best results.
