The University of Utah will hold its inaugural U Giving Day on May 21-22, a 36-hour fundraising effort to support initiatives across campus including research and charitable care at the John A. Moran Eye Center.

Join alumni, students, residents, fellows, patients, parents, faculty, and staff to “imagine more” for the future of U students and the university, and Moran’s leading-edge research and sight-saving outreach care at home and around the world.

How Can I Get Involved in U Giving Day?

Everyone supporting the U during these 36 hours, with a gift of any size, will be joining forces with the larger community to make a lasting impact.

Opportunities to get involved include the following:

• Make an impact by giving a gift online or in person during U Giving Day.
• Show your support by following the Moran Eye Center social media pages and sharing #ugivingday posts.
• Join the social media ambassador team by sharing a reason you love the U and the Moran Eye Center.
• Become a challenge donor. Match your peers’ gift amount or set a donor goal and inspire others to make an impact.
• Visit Moran's Outreach or Research U Giving Day pages for more details.

If you would like to learn more about becoming a challenge donor or social media ambassador, please email Tawnja Martin, Moran development officer, at tawnja.martin@hsc.utah.edu
