Support Groups For People With Blindness & Vision Loss

These groups give our patients opportunities to share experiences with others in the same situation and to receive information and encouragement.

VIP Group

VIP stands for Visually Impaired People of Retirement Age. This group offers a combination of interesting speakers, topics, activities and support.

Adults With Vision Loss Group

Adults With Vision Loss is a traditional support group to share experiences and struggles with vision loss and blindness.

Utah Ataxia Support Group

This group of for people with all forms of ataxia and the people who care about them. This group meets six times per year.

New support groups are now being developed for specific blinding eye diseases.

Educational Groups

These groups provide instruction, discussion, and hands on training for living with vision loss.

Maintaining Independence

This five-week course covers basic skills in the areas of transportation and mobility, accessing information, keeping up your social life, and shopping.

Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension Group
