Announcer: The Health Minute, produced by University of Utah Health.

Interviewer: Choosing the right mattress. Dr. Milton Chua is a sleep expert. What's your advice?

Dr. Chua: Three things. So number one is make sure that you're getting spine support that it's the same as when you're standing up, making sure you get that even support throughout the body and even pressure points. Number two would be to take a look at or to feel the temperature of the mattress and when you're lying down get an even dispersion of that temperature. You don't want too hot or too cold of a mattress. And, number three, making sure that the store that you go to has a good return policy and that you can try out the mattress for 30 days and if you don't feel comfortable, you can return it, no problem.
