Matthew D. Steimle, DO

  • Dr. Steimle received his medical degree from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Wayne State University, and his Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at the Georgia Regents/Medical College of Georgia. He then completed a second fellowship in Emergency Ultrasound also at Georgia Regents/Medical College of Georgia. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the University of Utah.

    He is currently the PEM Ultrasound Medical Director. His specific clinical interests include pediatric emergency ultrasound education and training, Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) outreach and collaboration, Interhospital POCUS collaboration clinical education, simulation, trauma, and critical care.

    He is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
