Bio

Christopher Hanrahan MD, PhD, is a musculoskeletal radiologist in the Department of Radiology at the Univeristy of Utah School of Medicine and a member of the Huntsman Cancer Institute Sarcoma Services Program. He provides subspecialty interpretations of musculoskeletal radiography, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance (MR) imaging studies. In addition, he performs ultrasound, CT, and fluoroscopic-guided biopsies along with musculoskeletal joint and tendon sheath injections.

Dr. Hanrahan received his MD and PhD from The University of Connecticut School of Medicine, completed an internship, diagnostic radiology residency, and musculoskeletal imaging fellowship at The University of Utah School of Medicine. He then joined the Huntsman Cancer Institute and the University of Utah School of Medicine faculty in 2008.

Academic Bio

Christopher Hanrahan, MD, PhD, is a musculoskeletal radiologist in the Department of Radiology at the Univeristy of Utah School of Medicine, and he currently serves as the Section Chief of Musculoskeletal Radiology. He is an investigator of the Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) and a member of the HCI Sarcoma Services Program. His research interests include imaging biomarkers in sarcoma, a connective tissue cancer, and physiologic imaging of muscle.
