Bio

As a sixth-generation resident of Utah Valley, Dr. Moore is pleased to bring the University of Utah’s world-class reproductive medicine closer to home for Utah Valley and southern Salt Lake county residents. He has office hourse daily in Orem, and also each week in South Jordan. During his first year of practice with UCRM (2012-2013), his most fulfilling moments were helping numerous couples achieve spontaneous pregnancies through nutrition, hormone and lifestyle modification, and helping all eight couples whom he treated with IVF to achieve ongoing singleton pregnancies. His clinical interests include the full breadth of reproductive endocrinology and fertility treatment, as well as specialized interdisciplinary treatment of PCOS, endometriosis, and pelvic pain. Dr. Moore is Utah's first robotically-trained fertility specialist, and offers a full range of minimally invasive surgical options, including robotic myomectomy (fibroid removal), robotic and open tubal reversal, and treatment of advanced-stage endometriosis. Dr. Moore graduated from BYU with University Honors in 2001, and spent the next 11 years living in New York, Massachusetts, and Indiana as he completed his medical training. Dr. Moore enjoys being a husband and father to four children, is an avid four-season commuter cyclist, formerly played the cello in the Orchestra at Temple Square, and keeps bees in the same pear orchard where his grandfather used to keep his hives.

July 29, 2014

It was good, but would have like to get a follow-up email after the appointment

July 23, 2014

Good

July 15, 2014

would definitely recommend Dr. Moore

July 14, 2014

I was disappointed that after my procedure and being awake from sedation the doctor never came back in to tell me how things went etc

June 28, 2014

We discussed many things, but not much explanation as to exactly what we were looking for (or possible explanations for past failed pregnancies) or ways to treat. Still preliminary too as we have to wait a few weeks for blood testing. Perhaps dr didn't want to dive into anything before testing was done.

June 28, 2014

He was very understanding of our situation. However, I felt that some of the words he used were "dumbed down" for our convenience. I would rather hear straight-talk and then an explanation if I don't understand some of the medical vocabulary.

June 14, 2014

the doctor wasn't supposed to be involved in the procedure but popped in quickly to help the nurses troubleshoot. he was polite courteous and efficient.

May 30, 2014

Dr Moore was wonderful.

May 23, 2014

Very kind and professional. Explained exactly what is needed and what to do next. He even typed me a very simple, detailed to-do list.

May 23, 2014

Dr. Moore is wonderful and we would recommend him to any of our friends. We love how much time he spends with us and thoroughly examines our charts and makes recommendations that are very personalized to us.

May 08, 2014

Dr Moore was thorough in his questions, exam, and explanations. I felt that he was extremely concerned about my condition and was hopeful in the different forms of treatment that could be provided. He spent a good 45 minutes with me and I felt like he cared and didn't rush me out of the office. All questions were answered.

May 06, 2014

I've already recommended dr. Moore to 2 people

April 29, 2014

The doctor was very concerned about my well-being throughout the exam and explained alternatives to ensure that I would be comfortable for the next exam.

April 26, 2014

Good experience

April 15, 2014

It's been a while since the first appointment and almost no progress has been made in the follow up plan.

March 17, 2014

I would recommend the ivf team to any one having problems conceiving.

March 10, 2014

I love Dr. Moore, he is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. At our first appointment, he spent 2 hours with us discussing our problem and what plan he thought was best. He answered all of our questions, and made sure we felt comfortable.

February 17, 2014

I've been around to a lot of doctors in the last few years to find someone who was both knowledgeable about my condition and who I felt comfortable with. I'm really glad to have found Dr. Moore because I feel confident that he's both.

February 03, 2014

Couldn't be happier with the care.

January 24, 2014

Dr Moore was great! I feel like he understood me when I explained my symptoms and truly desired to get to the root of my pain. He was focused and professional.

January 21, 2014

I am incredibly impressed with Dr. Moore. He is very understanding to my situation and I really loved and appreciated how he took all my little nit picky things into consideration when planning care for me. He explained everything to me in terms I could understand and gave me peace and assurance in treatment options. Instead of just throwing me on some medication or some kind of harsh treatment for my dx, or putting me automatically on infertility meds, he listened to all my concerns and got baseline blood work and testing to decide where we need to start. I GREATLY appreciated this, because since my surgery, I've had 3 other doctors tell me to start harsh treatment or medication NOW, without having pertinent information first. He listened intently to all my little concerns and gripes, and treated me like a person, not a patient. I'm very happy and pleased to have such a caring and down to earth physician to help me and my husband through this scary curve ball we've been thrown in life. We know we're in great hands! Thank you so much Dr. Moore!!

December 26, 2013

I was very happy with the service provided in my appointment. However, I am a little frustrated by the different information I am receiving from the different people I discuss information with. I was also embarrassed that the Dr. thought my questions were coming from my own research, when I am not "that" person. I was just trying to further understand what nurses within the program have been communicating to me.

December 09, 2013

Dr. Moore took the time to explain what he was doing, to answer our questions, and to help us make plans for future treatment. I'm sure he's busy with other patients, but when he was in the exam room with us his full attention was on our needs.

December 05, 2013

Dr. Moore is AMAZING. I have seen a lot of doctors in an attempt to correct my pain issues. Dr. Moore is the only dr. that has actually listed to my concerns and cared enough to REALLY help me. And he has certainly done that. He genuinely wants to help me, and you can see it on his face. When I contact him and tell him that I am feeling better, he is also genuinely happy to hear it. He is a wonderful dr. and more dr. should be like him.

December 04, 2013

I really felt comfortable with Dr. Moore. The only reason I'm not sure about follow up is that we're in a bit of a holding pattern right now.

November 25, 2013

Dr. Moore is competent, friendly, and above all, very caring. He took time to help us come to a good decision about our treatment and was there for us when we needed to ask him additional questions. Excellent doctor and a kind person.

November 23, 2013

The consult was only suppose to be 30 minutes, but Dr. Moore went above and beyond and explained every worry we had, and what we were going to do next time to improve. We were thinking about going to another clinic, but we love Dr. Moore too much to leave.

November 22, 2013

Dr. Moore is a very knowledgeable yet compassionate Doctor.

November 18, 2013

Dr Moore is a wonderful physician who answered my questions completely. I trust his judgement.

October 28, 2013

He had very good bedside manners. He was very polite. I can tell that he is very good at what he does. I was very pleased with the treatment plan.

October 28, 2013

Dr. Moore is an amazing doctor. Its very nice to have a doctor that actually cares for a change. He genuinely wants to help me, and it shows.

October 28, 2013

We love the UCRM, Dr. Peterson, and his staff.

October 23, 2013

This was our second round of IVF transfer. We have had nothing but good things come from the staff during this process!!

October 22, 2013

I loved Dr. Moore.

October 12, 2013

I truly feel like Dr.Moore will be able to help me resolve my health issues. I have confidence in his credentials and knowledge. he is very kind and gentle with any difficulties.

October 11, 2013

sometimes the appointments felt a bit rushed, but I knew I could my chart any questions I had.

September 26, 2013

Dr. Moore has taken the time to truly start to help figure out what is going on, and how best to help me. With everything so specialized these days, too many problems are falling through the cracks because they cross over doctors and they only think of their one part. You end up getting sent in circles with no help at all and I can't say how grateful I am he has been willing to think about my entire pelvic pain and possible causes. I wish I had known about him a long time ago. Any woman in this area struggling with pelvic pain should not hesitate making an appointment.

August 06, 2013

I have already recommended several people to Dr. Moore

July 09, 2013

I was seeing a different Dr. in the center and for some reason we didn⿿t know I was thrown into seeing DR Moore. Before the 1st visit I was not very happy about the switch, but after one visit was very pleased with the care her took with us, the time he took to address problems that no one had before, we were lucky to have been ⿿thrown⿝ in with Moore. Too bad I didn⿿t know that before:)

July 08, 2013

first time meeting dr Moore. he was very professional and we feel confident in his abilities.

June 26, 2013

I would never recommend him as a provider.

June 11, 2013

Dr. Moore is very good at explaining the plan he has for you and answering your questions ! He is there to make your dreams come true with passion of your situation !

May 20, 2013

I met with Dr. Moore and Denise for this appointment and they were both so great. Dr. Moore was very fast but efficient and got me in and out very quickly. When he came in the room he introduced himself to myself and my husband, washed his hands and got to work. I appreciated that he was very clean both washing his hands before and after he left. We then met with Denise who went over all of our drug treatments and she was so great at explaining everything to us. She spent so much time answering all of our questions and making sure that we understood everything. It was a great appointment.

May 08, 2013

Usually Dr. Hammoud turns the ultrasound screen to be part of what the doctor is seeing on screen. I really like this about Dr. Hammoud and think Dr. Moore can be more open with what he is seeing on screen.

February 25, 2013

I know he was a newer doctor, but I just didn't get that same feeling with the other doctors that have been there for awhile and that I've worked with. I was happy and comforted that he did consult with another doctor before moving on with my treatment.

February 25, 2013

She seemed to be either not feeling well or not having a good day, but was still respectful and helpful.

February 25, 2013

Would like to have seen him after procedure & heard the results from him, but I know he is busy. I adore dr Moore & wish he could be my OBGYN as well, through my whole potential pregnancy & delivery

February 25, 2013

I can't remember this visit, but every physician I have worked with has been excellent. Dr. Moore was the only one that didn't introduce himself right away when he joined an ultrasound, but I figured he had to be the doc

February 15, 2013

I have never felt rushed or like I was inconveniencing anyone with my questions or concerns. My husband and I were seeking treatment at another fertility clinic and we were very unhappy with the doctors and our ability to communicate and receive answers. We have been so impressed with the University of Utah. We have been vey happy with our descions to come here.

December 18, 2012

Dr. Moore has an incredible bedside manner. Everytime I've spoken to him I come away from the conversation feeling more knowledgeable, having less anxiety about future treatments, and greater hope for success.

November 12, 2012

Good experience. Dr Moore seemed genuinely concerned about my pain and suggested what I could do to help me by providing another source. I will be referring my friends and family to this clinic.
