Doctor Pham, Tuan was sensitive to my problem and I feel that he really cares. Doctor Adler was careless and rude and I didn't got the help the I was expecting from him. I am disappointed because I put all my hopes in him.

November 09, 2015

Dr. Adler & Dr. Suzuki are very personable and caring. They both took the time to listen to my health concerns. Dr. Adler sat down and had a genuine conversation with me about how I can improve my health. I left feeling a sense of relief about my health issues because I was reassured that they are manageable.

September 27, 2015

I love Dr. Adler and all the staff here.

September 22, 2015

Dr. Adler was very kind.

September 19, 2015

It took 4 tries to get an IV started.. My waiting was terrible, 1:30 appointment and I waited until 4:40 before being called in. I was pissed...

September 17, 2015

The friendliness of the physician and nurses was superior.

September 17, 2015

I felt very comfortable about the surgery.

September 14, 2015

Had the time of my life.

September 14, 2015

lucky guy

September 14, 2015

It was like a party

September 14, 2015

I was a patient of Dr. Adler while we lived in Utah. Since then we move to the Sacramento area in CA. I was hospitalized at UCD which compares badly with UofU (as in life threatening). My wife and I both agree it is better for us to travel to UofU than see other Doctors for my issue.

September 08, 2015

I was scheduled for pancreatic ultrasound at 8:30 a.m. The scheduler called me the day before to change the time to 12:30 p.m. At 1:00 p.m., the procedure was delayed again for another hour, and the registration clerk told me I was next. At around 3:00 p.m., the Dr. Adler's technician, told me there were two other procedures ahead of me. I asked whether those two procedures were emergency procedures. I received evasive non-answers. My procedure did not begin until after 4:00 p.m. I am a transplant patient, and I understand emergency procedures; after all, I've had a few of those. I have no complaint against Dr. Adler. I thought he demonstrated grace under great pressure, and he gave me accurate, reliable information. My complaint and the source of my intense aggravation on that day was that the nursing staff either could not or would not answer my questions directly with dependable information. I kept hearing different things from different people, and toward the end, I started getting evasion and non-answers to my questions. I specifically told the staff NOT to interrupt Dr. Adler, that all I wanted was reliable information about when my procedure would happen. But true to form, the staff dragged him out of surgery to come talk to me. In the past two years that I have been a patient at Huntsman, when I ask for something to be done in a particular way, the staff does what it pleases.

September 05, 2015

We were told to be there at 7 AM and got there at 6:45 and didn't go back till 8:30

September 03, 2015

Dr. Adler is very professional and he knows his stuff!

August 30, 2015

I want to say that everyone is great. The person giving me my medicine to go to sleep (Tootie) made me feel at ease and comfortable. These things give me great anxiety and she was comforting.

August 18, 2015

Again I am not complaining about waiting time for the surgery as it was sort of an emergency and the Doctor was kind enough to fit me in, however if they know you are going to have to wait 2 or more hours past your scheduled time it would be nice to be out in the larger waiting room.

August 11, 2015

Physician seemed hurried.

August 11, 2015

I don't know if staff were running late or what but everybody seemed hurried.

August 08, 2015

I think that the set-up is so much better for people like me than having to go into a busy hospital. In ten years I will be back!

August 08, 2015

The staff was all very professional but very considerate and thorough in their explanations.

August 04, 2015

I see why so many people I have known to be treated at Huntsman's are so encouraging. They all said they received excellent care, treatment from everyone. Very impressed.

August 04, 2015

Received excellent care, instructions and information from the doctor

August 04, 2015

July 20, 2015

Dr Adler and his fellow were/are knowledgeable and respected in their field of expertise

July 15, 2015

the nurses were very kind and helpful. the doctor was not very informative, very short, and unconcerned for our 6 hour waite plus unconcerned about the persons pain level or concerns.

July 13, 2015

my appointment was for 10:30. I did not get the procedure until 1:30. it was difficult to go that long without medication or anything to drink.

July 10, 2015

We waited almost an hour before we were even taken to a room.

July 09, 2015

Physician had limited time for follow-up, but that may be because my spouse was a little difficult to locate following the procedure.

July 06, 2015

Turned out the procedure was unnecessary. VERY frustrating. Should they have been sure before putting myself and my family through all of the prep, consults and waiting?

July 06, 2015

Was told to be there at Noon - waited for hours and hours. Long delay for family.

November 17, 2014

I've been visiting the Gastroenterology clinic for many years. It's always been an excellent experience. Not just because of the care I receive, but because Dr. Adler is current with research, evidence-based medicine and best practices for quality care.

October 17, 2014

I don't know the doctor all that well yet to have confidence in him or recommend him yet.

January 12, 2014

I could not be more pleased with the care I received from Dr Adler.

October 10, 2013

We discussed many options and possible outcome s

April 15, 2013

I was very impressed with Dr. Adler.

March 11, 2013

generally better experience then at other hospitals

October 01, 2012

Dr. Douglas Adler has been my gastroenterologyst for over 4 years. He is a great medical doctor, explains things very well and he is very concerned always about my case of acute recurrent idiopathic pancreatitis.

September 17, 2012

Dr Adler and his staff were very conscientious and were very helpful to my situation

Dr Adler is competent and seems concerned about my health and what he can do for me.

August 14, 2012

i have recommended him to others

July 09, 2012

Outstanding

May 04, 2012

the doctor was extremely imformative. He was the first doctor to give a detailed description of my sickness

May 04, 2012

I didn't feel the doctor adequately addressed some of my concerns. Gave a quck answer that didn't really seem to address my concern.

April 27, 2012

I wouldn't recommend him for my specific condition, because he doesn't believe in my condition. But for other pancreas conditions, I would definitely recommend him.

April 27, 2012

Dr. Adler by far is the best.

February 10, 2012

Could not ask for a better provider. Informative and caring

February 10, 2012

I appreciated the concern of pursuing the abormal lab; although the labs had improved; they remained elevated and a concern to both of us.

January 25, 2012

I came to the University after being brushed aside by the doctors that had been treating me. My concerns about what was going on with me and my symptoms, I felt like they treated me like they were all in my head. The difference in the care was amazing, makes me regret I wasted so much time with other doctors before I came to the University.
