UofU Patient April 01, 2013It seemed the doctor came into the room carrying on a conversation that had started in a different room. My gut feeling is that the doctor wanted to get the exam over with, that he needed to be somelwhere else. When the possibility exists of major surgery for the patient, take the time to make the patient be at ease with the situation. I left with more questoins than when I arrived.
UofU Patient April 01, 2013My favorite doctor! He shows so much care and concern. He treats me like family. I know that he is cheering for me. At times I feel that he leaves the office without giving me an opportunity to ask questions. As a result, I have had to call after the appoinment to have his medical assistant get information not given at the appointment.

I appreciate his cheerfulness and thoroughness. He makes extra time to address any concerns that I or my husband may have. As well as he is one of the best Surgeon's and I appreciate all that he has done for me.

I know he truly cares and can feel his genuine concern for my health. He treats my spouse with kindness as he helps us by explaining things in "layman" terms. I am so thankful to have Dr. Kubiak as my surgeon.

I appreciate that he always takes the time to talk to me about my injury and the different pain that I feel. He uses medical terminology and layman terms to help me. He is enthusiastic full of energy and positive. I appreciate that he listens to my concerns as well and helps me through.

UofU Patient August 27, 2012Dr. Kubiak is an excellent surgeon. However, he is overworked and probably stressed. I really appreciate that he was able to see me even though he was trying to get out of town. It turns out that he was so busy he could not go to the meeting. There seems to be a need for a pain management nurse or PA to assist with pain. Dr. Kubiak needs to use his skills for surgery and not prescribing meds.

I was in shock and still have a hard time fathoming the the great doctor he is...and that he's the real deal!! I'm excited to get things taken care of and to move on with my life.

My first and second appointments I did not get enough time with the doctor. But, at this 3rd appointment I appreciate that Dr. Kubiak took the time to listen to my complications I was going through and he showed general concern especially when he took the time to understand what I required to get back to work. I appreciate that he explained the way I walk in layman's terms.

UofU Patient April 06, 2012surgery went well and it actually worked, had two other surgeries at a different hospital that failed and i was referred. The docter was excellent and the hospital itself was top notch.
