This is the best medical staff I have ever seen put together. I would highly reccomend them to anyone. University of Utah Medical Center should be proud of its group because they are highly professional and they care about their patients.

Even tho the botox didn't work right with me Dr Schrock showed great concern when I couldn't swallow or talk very good. She showed me some exercises to do. And gave me some ideas to help me swallow while I'm waiting for botox to wear off.

We have recommended several to Dr. Schrock.

I don't think what I'm experiencing is normal after the procedure. But, the RN returned my call right away and so did the on call dr the night before. So I felt like they really cared about how awful I feel and how difficult it's been to talk and swallow.

Dr Schrock and Desiree are two of the most compassionate, knowledgable, dedicated people i know. They listen, but even more so, they hear. I have never seen them waste time, but the time they spend is careful, efficient, and complete. Again, becaue i am an engineer, i evalutate, watch, listen and ask questions so i feel i have a grip with and handle on Parkinson's disease. When we are done, I feel that we made progress. Perhaps it is because with DBS, there is actually a way to make progress, rather than walk out no6tknowing where you are going.

Dr. Schrock is unlike any physician I have ever met. I feel like I am in the care of the best of the best. I come away from each visit with a renewed hope and will to win. If any doctor is ever going to solve my medical problems, it will be Dr. Schrock. I am constantly telling concerned family and friends that I am under the care of the best and most competent neurologist in the medical world.
