It was an extremely helpful and informative visit and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Dr. Schrock and her staff

March 17, 2014

Others might not notice the small symptoms of movement disorders, but because I have Parkinson's, I look for and never pass a person without showing concern for them. Inevitably, the conversation turns to the miracle of DBS, University of Utah, Dr Schrock and Dr House and team. "A ray of hope" is really a bright beam of light to in our life's! On one occasion after returning from a short hike with my wife, an older couple asked us how difficult it was and I told them I have Parkinson's and if I can do it they can do it. She said she has a brother with PD and she could not even tell I had PD. 30 minutes later we had exchanged email address's and her brother in Virginia was going to be encouraged to go to the nearest Neuroscience center in his area, and this couple was going to learn more themselves!

March 01, 2014

Again -- exceptional

January 16, 2014

My experience with Dr Schrock was outstanding! Many in my family are doctors, thus, I am rarely deeply impressed by an office visit. Dr Schrock, however, was one of the unique examples of my being truly wowed. She is an amazing physician!!!

January 12, 2014

It is understandable why it is so difficult to get an appointment. I'm sure this center is in high demand.

January 07, 2014

She manages to be thorough, all business, but there's not a trace of the condescension you so often find in physicians.

January 07, 2014

goood

January 06, 2014

Tremendous patience! Very attentive, although waits between times the care provider came in were too long. (Spoken from the patient's point of view.)

December 02, 2013

She had studied my history and knew exactly what I was dealing with I have vrry complicated symptoms. She picked up on some things present in my brain that no other doctor had observed. She wanted to take more time and consult with other doctors before making a diagnosis. I know this was the right decision.

November 25, 2013

I think I was causing Dr. Schrock a lot of frustration. But she never lost her cool.

October 31, 2013

I totally trust Dr. Schrock. I really like that she doesn't just prescribe some medication to me because I am already on a ton of meds. And she leaves the prescribing to my main doctor. She also communicates with him all the suggestions she makes etc.... More doctors should be like that. Most at the U of U are like this and I really appreciate it. Thank you!!

October 11, 2013

I was amazed to recognize many of the symptoms I was experiencing as part of the disease. it is amazing to me how all this is connected. I was so grateful for all the time spent in explaining and questioning me. And I left with a greater understanding of what was associated with this disease.

October 03, 2013

April 02, 2013

Even tho the botox didn't work right with me Dr Schrock showed great concern when I couldn't swallow or talk very good. She showed me some exercises to do. And gave me some ideas to help me swallow while I'm waiting for botox to wear off.

March 25, 2013

We have recommended several to Dr. Schrock.

March 20, 2013

I don't think what I'm experiencing is normal after the procedure. But, the RN returned my call right away and so did the on call dr the night before. So I felt like they really cared about how awful I feel and how difficult it's been to talk and swallow.

March 15, 2012

Excellent! Have no concerns or complaints

March 15, 2012

I have recommended the University of Utah and the doctors. They are great!

March 05, 2012

Dr Schrock and Desiree are two of the most compassionate, knowledgable, dedicated people i know. They listen, but even more so, they hear. I have never seen them waste time, but the time they spend is careful, efficient, and complete. Again, becaue i am an engineer, i evalutate, watch, listen and ask questions so i feel i have a grip with and handle on Parkinson's disease. When we are done, I feel that we made progress. Perhaps it is because with DBS, there is actually a way to make progress, rather than walk out no6tknowing where you are going.

March 03, 2012

I AM ALWAYS INCLUDED IN MY CARE WITH DR. SCHROCK AND SHE SHARES CONCERN FOR ME AS SHE DOES OTHER PATIENTS. I AM NEVER DISSATISFIED

February 06, 2012

Dr. Schrock is unlike any physician I have ever met. I feel like I am in the care of the best of the best. I come away from each visit with a renewed hope and will to win. If any doctor is ever going to solve my medical problems, it will be Dr. Schrock. I am constantly telling concerned family and friends that I am under the care of the best and most competent neurologist in the medical world. She is extremely knowledgeable and yet is able to communicate at my level of understanding. I feel truly blessed in being one of Dr. Schrock's patients. She is one of the most Christ like individuals I have ever met - I have complete faith and trust in her.

January 26, 2012

Dr. Schrock is a wonderful doctor, she takes the time needed to explain things to me and doesnt' talk "over my head" with medical language. She and Desiree are a great team and I tell everyone about how great they and the rest of the staff are.
