Bio

Zachary Bowman, MD is a Visiting Instructor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center and a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellow. He is from Lodi, California. He attended Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, California, where he received a B.A. in Biology-Chemistry. He then received his M.D. and Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Pharmacology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina, before moving back to San Diego to complete his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, San Diego. His current research interests include infectious diseases in pregnancy and preterm labor.
