Bio

Beth is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and certified diabetes educator (CDE). She owned and managed a diabetes management clinic on the Mississippi gulf coast before making Utah her home in 2010. Since her career began as a diabetes specialist in 1999, Beth has been educating and treating patients with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes in both the hospital and clinic settings. She has been a sub-investigator and study coordinator for several studies evaluating the effects of medications to treat and prevent diabetes. Her clinical interest and expertise is in insulin pump management. In addition to her role as a nurse practitioner at the Utah Diabetes and Endocrinology Center, she also provides diabetes management consultation services for the Inpatient Glucose Management Service at the University of Utah Hospital.
