Bio

Dr. Williams was raised in Northern California and completed his undergraduate training at Brigham Young University. He received his dental degree from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, graduating magna cum laude. He then completed an Oral Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Highland Hospital at Alameda County Medical Center. His residency included training at Children’s Hospital in Oakland and extensive experience in orthognathic surgery at Kaiser Permanente, also in Oakland.

His clinical interests include treating patients with obstructive sleep apnea and he offers maxillomandibular advancement surgery, which is a highly successful treatment for sleep apnea. He was trained in and uses minimally invasive endoscopic surgery to treat temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders and other pathologies of the jaw joint. He has particular compassion for patients with dentofacial deformities and is passionate in the diagnosis, surgical treatment and post-operative care of these patients. He offers orthognathic surgery as a correction for dentofacial deformities and enjoys working closely with orthodontists throughout all stages of treatment.

Dr. Williams sees patients at University Hospital and South Jordan Health Center where is provides in-office IV sedation for procedures such as tooth extraction, dental implant placement, pediatric procedures, and TMJ procedures.
