Ten University of Utah Health Care clinics were among the state's 46 physician office practices honored with the 2016 HealthInsight Quality Award.
"We are pleased to recognize these outstanding physician office practices that have shown a commitment to improving health care quality for the residents of our state," said Juliana Preston, executive director of HealthInsight Utah. "Their commitment to excellence in delivering quality health care and ensuring positive patient outcomes is evidenced by their achievement of this award."
HealthInsight, a nonprofit, community-based health care consulting organization, recognized practices that have achieved top-level performance (above the 75th percentile) on a least six (or four for pediatric clinics) quality and/or patient experience measures or that have demonstrated a 15% absolute improvement on quality and/or patient experience measures within the last two years.
