Interventional Radiology

Interventional radiologists are involved in the treatment of the patient, as well as the diagnosis of disease. At University of Utah Health Care, our Interventional Radiology specialists use the latest medical equipment to optimize care provided to our patients – including a Siemens bi-plane angio suite which allows physicians to see three dimensional images while they perform procedures. This results in better care and improved outcomes. University Radiology offers oncologic interventional procedures such as chemoembolizations and ablations, and neurointerventional procedures including embolizations for aneurysms.
