My son has experienced severe back pain for nearly 10 years. The doctor felt like his previous diagnosis of Sheurmann's desease was incorrect. There was no discovery done to find out what might be causing the pain, or what might be done to lesson it, other then physical therapy which he has already tried.

August 08, 2014

no negatives

August 08, 2014

Dr. Brodke is a most caring, pleasant man with a great sense of humor. He is very professional, yet very personable. He has given me back so much of my life through his expertise. He is everything a person needs from their physician. I do recommend him to anyone who will listen. Thank you, Dr. Brodke.

July 23, 2014

Dr Brodkey's unique surgery for Nhung Duong has given her a shorter recovery period and anew life with much greater quality than prior to the surgery.

July 23, 2014

I cannot say enough good about Dr. Brodke and his team!! I'm referring everyone I know to this place!!

July 21, 2014

Dr. Bice was extraordinary. I had not met her before. She listened carefully and responded fully and in detail to my questions and concerns. I was quite surprised by how much time she was willing to take with me, and she never once appeared impatient. The truth is, by the time Dr. Brodke was available, most of my questions/concerns were addressed. I've found him to be equally extraordinary during past interactions, by the way.

June 27, 2014

Both the resident Doctor and Dr. Brodke inquired about my condition thoroughly and provided excellent recommendations for further care. I was very confident in the information they provided.

June 21, 2014

Overall excellent experience with well run clinic and caring and expert providers. Very satisfied

June 19, 2014

My experience with Dr. Brodke has always been extremely positive; I simply couldn't rate him more highly! He is professional and knowledgeable but never shies away from taking extra time to explain the details and procedures, etc. Having said that, he is exceedingly friendly, down-to-earth and is possessed of a marvelous sense of humor. He has the gift of being able to put people at ease and to instill confidence. I always look forward to visiting him and I always come away enlightened, less worried and even a little happier than when I arrived. Dr. Brodke is an exceptional doctor who engenders confidence and ease in his patients.

February 27, 2014

I hope I don't have too, but I would return to be treated by the same group without any hesitation. By the contrary, I would be looking forward to meeting with them again. I was at ease and without stress during the consult and definitely very comfortable mentally, by the time I left.

January 31, 2014

good

January 31, 2014

The fellow was very nice but a bit prone to speak over me. Dr. Brodke was patient, thorough, thoughtful and exhibited a great mix of experience-based and evidence-based wisdom.

Having the X-rays, MRI's, Bone Scan results up so that they could explain the findings was very, very helpful.

November 18, 2013

I feel so much better after seeing Dr. Brodke. It took a while to get in to see him though. I am in extreme pain and was hard to wait. I had seen two other doctors before Dr. Brodke. They were not the doctors for me. He was friendly, confident and knew just how to help me. Great experience!

November 18, 2013

not a lot of detail about what to do and not to do with my back (surgery 8 months ago). Pretty much "keep doing what I am doing". Although I do feel like I know what i should be doing from previous visits.

November 18, 2013

Dr. Brodke and assistants were open and frank in explaining my options, both surgical and non-surgical, and the decision to be conservative with medication only for a while is appreciated.

November 16, 2013

Dr was running late and seemed to rush thru my appointment.

November 15, 2013

I have already recommended this care provider, was asked at the SNF who my surgeon was and proudly told them. Honestly, they were surprised to hear the surgeon was from the U..

October 25, 2013

Dr. Brodke is the BEST in the WEST!!!

October 20, 2013

I am sorry but I do not feel warm and fuzzy about Dr Brodke doing surgery on my back, I don't have the trust that I feel I should have. Will probably cancel the surgery and find someone else. I am getting a 2nd opinion as to whether or not I need back surgery right now.

October 07, 2013

WELL PLEASE WITH EVERYTHING AT THE CLINIC.

September 24, 2013

Word-of-mouth was what brought me to this office. I have heard high praise for Dr. Brodke from several people, also positive recommendations for the office generally.

We actually did not talk about f/u care or anything about after surgery care.

May 20, 2013

May 06, 2013

Dr. Brodke was very knowledgeable and helpful but the wait time again was way too long.

March 25, 2013

I felt Dr. Brodke was confident, not arrogant. He was patient with me and listened carefully---treated me with respect and as an equal----I was very impressed. It's clear he's a VERY good doctor.

March 25, 2013

Dr. Brodke is amazing. I do not know, however what shot was given to me to finally ease my pain, but I presume it is a steroid. I was more concerned with results than what created them at the moment

I have already, many times, expressed to people with similar back problems....that they ought to get in touch with Dr. Brodke and the U of U Orthopedic Center before they give up....he is able to do miracles.

October 08, 2012

I have full confidence in the staff and have already recommended to many

Dr. Brodke is the "best"!

September 03, 2012

While the wait tested my patience I was referred to Dr. Brodke because of my back issues and the wait was worth my time. So, I guess sometimes you have to take the good with the bad to get what you want.

August 27, 2012

focussed and articulate, occasionally amusing

Dr Brodke offered effective additional medications to alleviate problems described and gave accurate predictions of the healing process.

March 28, 2012

Really liked Dr. Brodke's honesty and professionalism. The PA basically seemed uninterested until Dr. Brodke arrived.

March 28, 2012

I got no feeling that Dr Brodke took my degree of pain seriously. I asked that I be put on Prednisone to see if it could help. He prescribed it for one week. In the past a doctor I was seeing put me on the medication for a month. I have had not relief of pain or symptoms as of 4/7/12

March 21, 2012

Dr Brodke was very helpful in directions to me and my wife Ruth.

February 15, 2012

both the physcians assistant and dr. brodke showed little interest in allowing me to explain what issues I have to deal with day to day, what symptoms i am having constantly . Which I have experienced all the time. I wish for one doctor to allow me to explain what and where and how it hurts in my back. But no they rush to conclusion before knowing the whole story.

February 15, 2012

Both the PA & Dr. wer so helpful and concerned.

February 15, 2012
