There was a slight feeling of the Doctor being "rushed", even though there were no other patients in the clinic. She acted like she was trying to get things completed quickly. Not to the extent that we felt our care was being compromised, but just that she did not want delays to be incurred. Perhaps she could remember to take a deep breath right before she comes into the examination room.

April 10, 2013

Dr. Young was excellent with my son. She made him feel comfortable and let him know what to expect next.

March 27, 2013

Dr. Young is fantastic! I have complete confidence in her skills from A to Z. I couldn't ask for a more capable, professional, caring, understanding, upbeat and fully engaged physician. The best part is she LISTENS to me which I find very rare these days.

good

February 04, 2013

My daughters treatment went faster than what they had thought and they are watching her closer than I had expected for being "done". That shows concern.

December 17, 2012

I felt like Dr young showed concern for my daughter. She listened to my concerns and was very thorough.

November 26, 2012

They did a more thorough job on the eye exam than I received at another eye center.

November 22, 2012

Dr. Young was very thorough, listened to my questions, provided clear answers to them. I feel very confidant in her knowledge and skills pertaining to my eye problems. She explained the various tests as she conducted them. I left the appointment with a good understanding of my eye issues. Dr. Young thoroughly and clearly explained the pros and cons as to what I should expect during and after eye surgery. Dr. Young comes highly recommended by Dr. Bradley Katz in your UofU office. Also, Dr. Lance Nelson my eye doctor at the Tanner Clinic in Layton, UT.

November 13, 2012

Best doctor experience I have had...maybe ever.

November 08, 2012

I felt like the doctor was patient with my daughter and didn't rush things. She did a great job explaining things so that I understood what she was doing or describing. I continue to have confidence in the skills of the doctor. It was a good visit.

October 24, 2012

Loved that Dr. Young encouraged another attempt at patching.

October 22, 2012

Very personable, spend tons of time with us, we didnt feel rushed

October 16, 2012

She did seem a little rushed, and I had to ask her explain some of the terms she used, but overall I wouldn't hesitate to visit her again.

October 08, 2012

This is our first experience with Dr. Young. It was fair

October 02, 2012

She should slow down when asking kids questions. Some people need a second to process what its being asked and w are not all familiar with these testing processes like they are.

September 18, 2012

If the doctor had dressed more professionally she would have seemed more crediable. She looked very young and did not give the apperance that other doctors in the past had given. She may have know what she was doing but her apperance made us unsure whether she was giving us accurate information.

September 11, 2012

She talked in a very loud voice. Felt like we were being yelled at the whole time. Dr gave no options, solutions or suggestions. She simply made an appointment with another dr without consulting or otherwise discussing it with the patient and guardians.

September 11, 2012

I really enjoy the Doctor we saw. I was a little upset at this appointment because I have to drive a little over an hour just to get to the appointment. We got there and they were running behind on appointments. Because of this when the doctor did see us she spent less than five minutes in the room with us and told us to come back in four months. I felt like my drive there was pointless.

September 03, 2012

This was my first appt w dr young. I was very surprised that she didnt introduce herself. I didnt know if she was an assistant or dr

August 27, 2012

We like Dr Young and are getting more acquainted with her.

August 20, 2012

First time to see this doctor. She was quick, efficient.

August 20, 2012

Dr. Was very informative. She was very good dealing with my toddler and gave her the attention and time it needed to get a good look and diagnosis. I am very impressed with her and will refer anyone to her.

August 13, 2012

We have had 2 appts. with Dr. Young and she has spent more time with us than any other doctor ever has, including our primary care pediatrician whom we really like.

August 13, 2012

Dr. Young seemed very busy. She seemed sorry that we had to wait so long. The long wait has everything to do with it being a bad experience.

June 28, 2012

I felt the staff was very professional and courteous. It was very nice to see younger physicians in this kind of setting; with everything children go through these days a kinder and friendlier personality goes a long way!!

June 26, 2012

We loved and were very impressed with Dr. Young!

June 11, 2012

Dr. seemed in a rush. She had so much energy it was hard to relax and think of questions to ask.

June 05, 2012

Amazing. Just amazing. I will recommend her to anyone and i will be sure we stick with her for any additional problems. We had such a bad experience with another eye dr. It was so great to come here and have her know what eye was the problem with out asking me. She reviewed health history and noted the heart murmur and scheduled surgery at the appropraite hospital. Just so happy with the facility and staff.

April 28, 2012

This was our first experience with Dr Young. She seemed to be in a BIG HURRY. She doesn't have a very good bed side manner. She wasn't personable at all. She actually got her pointer finger and tapped my 10 year old daughter on the forehead quite roughly so she could show the resident which eye he was suppose to be looking at. I'm not sure we are going to to continue to see her. I'm still trying to decide.....But the rest of the staff was extremely pleasant and we loved Dr.Larsen.

April 24, 2012

This is the most time I have ever had a doctor spend in an appointment. I was concerned about not having Dr. Larsen but Dr. Young far exceeded our expectations!!

April 20, 2012

Not impressed! I knew it was going to be bad when she ran in the room right past me and said, "Hi, I'm Marielle," without even making eye contact. I expect professional medical providers to look at me and talk respectfully. Her parting words to me were, "You're done!" She said this with her back toward me while she was looking at the computer. She was not friendly at all to my child's 3-year-old sibling who came with us. After her short exam, she said that we needed to dilate my daughter's eyes. When I asked how long that would take (only because I'd been there an hour by now), she told me it would take 20-30 minutes. Sensing my hesitancy, she said, "We don't have to do it." What does that mean? Why do we have to do it when we don't have to do it????

April 17, 2012

This is the first time we've seen Dr. Young since Dr. Larson left. We're adjusting to the change.

April 12, 2012

I only put fair for recommending this care provider because I don't really know her yet. I am sure that as we have more appointments with her we will get to know her better and whether or not we would recommend her to anyone. Our first visit with her, I felt like she was very thorough which I liked. So, we will see how it goes.

March 16, 2012

I felt like we were being rushed.
