Bio

Emily Harold, MD, is a board-certified physician specializing in sports medicine. She received her bachelor's degree from Washington University, where she also played basketball and contributed to three National Championship teams. Dr. Harold received her medical degree from Ohio State University, and went on to complete a fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. While in Cleveland, she worked with local high school and college sports teams, as well as the Cleveland Cavaliers and Browns. Her professional interests include overuse and sports injuries, injury prevention, and strains and fractures in athletes of all ages. In her leisure time, Dr. Harold enjoys skiing, hiking, running and spending time with her family. She is currently welcoming new patients and accepts most insurance plans.

Academic Bio

Professional Interests: Emily Harold’s professional interests are chronic overuse injuries, sports injuries, and injury prevention. She routinely treats sprains, strains, and fractures and performs injections in athletes of all ages and types. After evaluation she refers patients to an appropriate surgeon if necessary.

Personal Interests: Outside of work Emily enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, swimming, running, and any outdoor sporting activity. She also enjoys traveling in Utah, reading, and spending time with her family.

Education: Emily received a BA from Washington University in 2000 where she was a starting contributor on three consecutive National Championship basketball teams. She received her MD from Ohio State University in 2004 and did her Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at the University of Utah. She completed her Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in 2008. During her fellowship she worked with area high school and college teams as well as the Cleveland Cavaliers and Browns. Emily has been a physician at the Park City Mountain Resort Ski Clinic for the last two winters. She is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.
