Bio

Dr. Brigham Smith is an Interventional Cardiologist with expertise and training in both intracoronary and structural cardiac procedures. Clinical interests and responsibilities include invasive management of acute heart attacks, invasive evaluation and management of heart failure, invasive assessment of valvular heart disease, coronary stent implantation/balloon angioplasty and PFO/ASD closure. Special clinical areas of focus include using the radial artery approach for cardiac catheterization and complex coronary interventions. Dr. Smith cares for patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings at the University of Utah Hospital, Price outreach clinic, Roosevelt clinic and the VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City. Dr. Smith is board certified in both General and Interventional Cardiology.

Above is an evaluation of the nurse practitioner and Dr. Smith. Both were excellent!! For the almost 2 years I have been seeing Dr. Smith, I feel at ease when seeing him. We both can show our sense of humor.

Toni is very professional so her nurses/assistants, makes her patient feel good and important. She listens to you and most important thing she is the only provider that is not rushing and spending time to communicate and educate you. I told her I like and love her.

It was nice talking to Dr. Smith for the first time. He did his assignment reading my medical history. It make a difference really if the Dr. read the history... the communication is better. The patient do not need to start from the beginning. It feels good to feel his concerns.
