Academic Bio

I have an interest in studies relating to cytology and most notably fine needle aspiration. Additionally, I have a subspecialty interest in Head and Neck pathology and related research. I currently act as the Director of the Cytopathology resident rotation (for our AP/CP residents at the University of Utah) and would like to continue to improve the rotation with newly implemented didactics, continually updated study sets, and periodic quizzes. I think these factors serve to buttress the service work and give our residents a well-rounded cytology experience.
