Wellness Programs for Companies

Osher Center for Integrative Health’s corporate wellness programs provide valuable services for your team. You can easily integrate these services into your company wellness programs. 

Our team provides high-quality programming and services. We ask your team to handle scheduling, communication, and wellness program structure.

Onsite & Group Services

Invite our team to meet yours and offer these services. Travel time/mileage charges may apply.

Biometrics Screenings

A biometrics screening test can provide you with a picture of your metabolic health. It will also show you any potential risk factors. Host a biometrics screening event for your employees.

Tests: 

  • Total cholesterol
  • HDL
  • LDL
  • Triglycerides and fasting glucose
  • Resting blood pressure
  • Waist circumference 

Cost

Package costs $40 per person. 

Substitute A1c testing for blood glucose to get a two- to three- month blood sugar average level. (You also don’t need to fast with this option!): $55 per person.

Massage

Treat your employees to a massage day or massage gift certificates. (Great incentives for employees!)

Cost

Chair massage events are $60/hour for each massage therapist. There is a three-hour minimum for these events. 

Chair massages can be 10, 15, or 30 minutes in duration. We also offer custom massages if you would like to schedule them.

Virtual Presentations

Invite our team to your standing meetings to speak on a variety of topics. Topics cover personal or professional wellbeing. Examples of topics include these:

  • PlantFULL eating
  • Fitting fitness into your day 
  • Mindfulness 101

Programs for Individual Participation

Encourage your employees to participate in the following programs and services through incentives or subsidies. These incentives and subsidies could be included in your corporate wellness programs.

National Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP)

The National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP) will help you change your lifestyle to delay or prevent type 2 diabetes. You will get coaching and support to help you make positive lifestyle changes, such as eating healthier and staying physically active.

Intensive Lifestyle Program (ILP)

The Intensive Lifestyle Program looks at the components of a healthy lifestyle to get you started on your way to feeling great. You can prevent most chronic diseases or improve your health with  lifestyle changes. 

Immediately improve your lifestyle by changing things like these: 

  • Sleep
  • Energy
  • Mood
  • Focus 

The program runs for 12 weeks. Each week you have a 90 min session with access to our gym.

Build-a-Bone

This unique, innovative program is a four-part series. Each part is a two-hour class where you learn how to care for and strengthen your bones. We also focus on treating and preventing low bone density (or osteoporosis).

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)

Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) is an intensive training in developing mindful awareness. Through this mindful awareness you can increase your capacity for health, healing, and growth. 

MBSR groups meet for an orientation, nine weekly classes, and an all-day retreat. At these classes we provide guided instruction in the following:

  • Sitting and walking meditation
  • Body scanning
  • Gentle yoga
  • Mindful communication

In addition to these practices, we incorporate inquiry exercises, group dialogue, and daily home assignments.

Everyday Mindfulness

In Everyday Mindfulness you will receive an introduction or booster kick to jump-start your mindfulness practice.  

This course uses the principles and practices of these techniques: 

  • Mindfulness-based stress reduction
  • Mindful self-compassion
  • Positive psychology

Self-Compassion

It's not easy to break the habit of being hard on ourselves, especially during challenging times.  Practicing self-compassion, however, supports us when we fall and sets us up to rise and thrive.  

In this four-week course, you will explore how to develop a genuine friendship with yourself. 

Relating to ourselves fairly and kindly is a lifelong practice with these benefits:

  • More resilience and energy for what matters
