Dr. Courtney Crombie was born in Maryland and raised in Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico. There she completed her Undergraduate and Medical Degrees at the University of New Mexico. She finished a complete residency training program in General Surgery at East Carolina University in North Carolina. In order to satisfy her artistic pursuits she sought additional surgical training in Plastic Surgery at the University of Utah.
Dr. Crombie divides her time between the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics, and the VA Hospital. She also maintains operating privileges at Primary Children’s Medical Center, Jordan Valley, and LDS Hospitals. She is the Chief of Plastic Surgery at the VA Hospital. Her plastic surgery interests encompass all aspects of plastic surgery as well as reconstructive surgery. She holds a special interest in complex corrective breast surgery for both cosmetic and reconstructive issues. She has excellent experience in the newer technique of fat grafting for both reconstructive contour deformities of breast and extremities, and in facial cosmetic applications.
Dr. Crombie is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery since 2002 and recently completed her ten year Maintanence of Certification requirements and re-examination. She a member in both the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgery.
During Dr. Crombie's free time she enjoys spending time with her daughter and the plethora of pets that are a part of her family. She loves the outdoors, particularly snowboarding, gardening, wildlife watching and flyfishing.

Being a woman I know of other women who would like plastic surgery me included. I was always the one asking who their doctor was and if they liked their surgeon. Now I am the one gushing about how wonderful my surgeon is and how incredible the office is. I won't recommend any other office.

I like Dr. Crombie a lot. I just think the plastic surgery department needs to work as a team rather than each doctor having their own fiefdom.

Dr. Crombie was super fantastic. I didn't know her and just picked a network provider, but after the initial consultation I am very pleased with the decision. I would recommend her to everyone. I felt she cared about me and took the time to really assess my situation. Extremely pleased!
