Josephine Abraham MD, MPH is a nephrologist at the University of Utah School of Medicine. In 1981, she began her undergraduate and medical training at the University of Madras, India which she completed in 1987. After training briefly in the United Kingdom and completing a Masters in Public Health at the University of Utah, she went on to finish her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Utah School of Medicine in 2004. She continued at the University of Utah to complete a Nephrology Fellowship in 2006. Upon completion of her fellowship, she practiced nephrology for five years before returning to the University of Utah in 2011.
She currently is the assistant program director for the Nephrology Fellowship Program at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Dr Abraham is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. Her clinical interests include various aspects of kidney disease particularly glomerulonephritis, vasculitis, secondary hypertension and renal transplantation.

I was a patient in this clinic 3 years ago but because it had been so long I was concider a new patient. I found Dr.Abraham to be very easy to talk with and she did an outstanding job of expalining everything to me. I have all the confidence in the world with her.
