I am so impressed with Dr. Kendall. He always gives me so much information that is helpful. I have never had a doctor that has been so thorough and complete in providing me with information and a treatment plan for his diagnosis. I feel very fortunate to have him as my doctor. He goes far beyond what I have ever expected from a physician. He takes the time to listen, and answers any questions I might have. He is amazing in his ability to diagnose problems, is very pleasant and treats me with respect.

January 03, 2017

Dr K. is a real asset to you. Make it worth his while to stay at the clinic.

December 14, 2016

I had a great experience with Dr. Kendall. He listened well, made me fell like my problem was important and he came up with some great insights into the problem. He inspired trust.

November 27, 2016

Dr Kendall did a great job explaining injection, any future injections and option of surgery to me.

October 11, 2016

Dr Kendall appears to be ernestly trying to solve my problem. Medications not working but not his fault.

October 03, 2016

On my first visit Dr. Kendall told me I have a condition called Klipple Fiel which of course I went home and googled. I was horrified by what i read and just couldn't believe it but thought if that gave me an answer to my headaches maybe it was true. On my second visit he said nothing about that but told me something different, when I asked him about it he said, no you don't have that. I wish he wouldn't have thrown that diagnosis out at me so casually on my first visit. To a patient diagnoses doctors give are taken seriously, at least by me, and it really scared me. Other than that Dr. Kendall is wonderful. I really like him. I did NOT like the PA who was working with him! She was abrupt, sharp and not gentle at all with my neck which is extremely sore. I won't let her touch me again. She has zero bedside manner.

October 02, 2016

Dr. Kendall is excellent!

September 27, 2016

I was impressed that the doctors were concerned with how I felt about possible treatments foor my situation.

September 20, 2016

very,very good experience

September 19, 2016

For follow up instructions: It would be great to have a printout or resource list of websites/books for physical therapy exercises to do at home. The MD described one exercise I can do, I would have liked more info.

September 06, 2016

very helpful

August 21, 2016

Dr. Kendall and Dr. Powell are at the top of my book and are VERY caring!!

August 17, 2016

I was very impressed with Dr. Kendall

June 15, 2016

I will drive the two and a half hours to receive the wonderful care I am receiving!! IF we were able to receive the care, the courtesy and so much more, I would stay closer to home. I love your clinic, everyone who works there and my doctors!

June 01, 2016

My next experience will be the telling on when I see if I can get relief from the procedure. I feel confident that it will help me.

May 24, 2016

I think that my frustration with my appointment was that after the initial evaluation by the resident/doctor #1, Dr. Kendell came into the exam room and asked me what to do as far as a next step. I'm not the doctor and I don't know what the best solution is to my problem; I made the appointment so that the doctor can tell me what to do next. The 1st doctor that evaluated me told me that my x-ray from 3 years ago looked normal, whereas Dr. Kendell said that the x-ray showed some ware and tare. It's the inconsistent message between the doctors and them relaying on me for direction was not what I expected to get from a specialist.

May 20, 2016

just didimt seem to really hear me and really understand that my pain is really bad

May 18, 2016

I realized after I left that the doctor(s) had not mentioned my prescription drug and whether or not I should continue to take it. I will have to make a phone call to determine that information and ask for a refill if needed.

May 13, 2016

November 14, 2015

Very knowledgeable--very professional and respectfull.

November 10, 2015

Excellent, kind, patient, and real help in fixing the problem. Spent about 20 min with me to insure I had the information to make a decision on what to do next with my SI joint.

September 21, 2015

Dr. Kendall was outstanding. He was not rushed and took plenty of time to review my xrays and the treatment to come. This in addition to discussing which PT clinic to attend. I'd highly recommend Dr. Kendall to others seeking treatment.

July 20, 2015

I trust Dr Kendall's opinion and idea's. He doesn't beat around the bush when telling you what you're stuck with for life. He is a very good orthopedic specialist.

June 25, 2015

I really like Dr. Kendall but I may not be able to keep seeing him given the track record of difficulty getting in to see him and then having him double scheduled like this.

March 28, 2015

Dr Kendall has grown on me. In a good way, he took time to listen to my concerns and explain things in human terms which means the world to me.

March 09, 2015

Thank you Dr. Kendall!

March 05, 2015

Dr. Kendall is is a straight forward doctor who cares about your total well-being, not just the orthapedic issues.

January 20, 2015

My only comment is I had an appointment with Dr Kendall and initially a Fellow came in and I basically started from scratch. she wanted to change meds. Dr Kendall came in and we got back to PT no med changes.

December 13, 2014

Dr Kendall was superb; more knowledgeable about post-polio than any doctor I've previously met with; he listened well, seemed unhurried and willing to talk as long as I had questions. His explanations were very clear; pleasant interactions. I have already recommended him to another

Dr. Kendall is excellent! He listens and he explains the procedures so they are clear and understandable. He treats me like I am an intelligent person. I appreciate how he is able to take the little pieces and figure out the bigger picture. I feel comfortable and confidant in his care.

October 20, 2014

Should have come here three years ago for my back issue. Awesome recommendations and care given.

October 17, 2014

With Doctor, Fellow, Med student all in the room with me, I wasn't always sure who was talking to whom, and what information was for me. It seemed like I was suppose to know what I wanted to have done - but I wasn't sure what the results from my MRI really meant and what options were reasonable.

October 03, 2014

I am fortunate to have such excellant health care and providers and I know I am in good hands at University Health Care.

After decades of tests and treatment, including cervical spine surgery, I finally have a clear picture of the source of my pain that will help immensely in dealing with it.

August 18, 2014

I am Dr. Kendall's patient because he is the best, I always find the best doctor to treat me. I have multiple problems and I need exceptional care. Dr. Kendall provides that. July 07, 2014

You can't find a better doctor. Dr. Kendall is great!

July 01, 2014

I really appreciate the input from both doctor and physical therapist. I think both having access to a patient's file is an excellent program.

July 01, 2014

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. I felt that he wasn't concerned about my condition and did not provide me with any information or reasonable solution to my situation. I thought he was condescending, curt, terrible bed-side manner. I left feeling worse than ever and even got to my car and started crying because I received no help or answers to my pain/condition. It was a waste of my time and my money. I will not come back to your clinic and I will NOT recommend you to anyone else.

June 25, 2014

Dr Kendall is an exceptional provider and listens to every word. He takes time to comment on what he hears and his responses are genuinely aimed at your needs, never a generic response.

February 15, 2014

Dr. Richard Kendall discovered on a MRI scout scan something all other doctors that I had seen had missed. I will be eternally grateful as his concern led to a cervical MRI and a major surgical correction that could have been a significant problem for me in the future.

January 28, 2014

Dr. Kendall is an excellent doctor and takes the time to explain your symptoms. He can gave me a sense of hope and explained the next step.

Dr Kendall is and always will be Trusted he is very courteous and explains everything we ask I have know him for years, Dr Kendall has gone out of his way for me many times it is very much appreciated we are grateful and Blessed to know him.

December 13, 2013

I was very impressed with the amount of time the doctor and a resident who was working with him spent with me. I felt they were very interested in finding the cause of my problem and were thorough in their examination and their consideration of the records and images I had brought with me.

December 07, 2013

The only thing that I thought was not brought to a conclusion was medication. The care providers each asked me about medications, talked about several possibilities, but never concluded with what I should do. I also forgot to ask at the end of the appointment. I'm still not sure if they had ideas or alternatives that they thought I could try for pain management.

December 06, 2013

I enjoy the fact that Dr. Kendall is usually on time with his appointments, even with seeing so many patients. I also feel he addresses all of my questions and needs, and seems to understand my difficulties and hurdles in life to to my injury. Awesome doctor!

October 28, 2013

Dr. Kendall did a great job! He was very courteous and knowledgeable.

August 19, 2013

I appreciated the thorough explanation of the problems with my neck and being shown the x-ray and MRI images.

August 10, 2013

I have seen several providers at this clinic. ALL have been extremely caring during my care and have great "bedside manner"! As I have other critical health issues each provider have been aware and very attentive not only for the services they are providing dealing with my orthopedic problems but, have been interested in my overall health issues.

August 05, 2013

Dr Kendall called me on Thursday prior to my appt. He seemed genuinely concerned and was able to get me in on Friday. Once he got involved it seemed to help me get through the process.

June 12, 2013

Zabell and Kendall MDs were both very professional, friendly.

April 25, 2013

They did everything they could to accommodate me out side of their regular schedule i am an have always been grateful for Dr Kendall and when given the opportunity I have recommended others to Him

April 17, 2013

Best experience I've ever had with a physician. I've had 10+ broken bones, loads of torn ligaments and hamstring tears/pulls. He was knowledgeable and confident in regards to every question I had.

I have a lot of confidence in Dr. Kendall. I see him as knowledgeable and capable.

I would recommend my care provider at the U of U to anyone,im excited to see them again in Southeast Utah in 3 months to see how things have progressed with my treatment.

February 11, 2013

DR Kendal was awesome, he was prome, friendly and did not have an attitude like some of the other Ortho Drs. He check what meds I was on before prescribing anything me, which no other DR has ever done and knew about interactions. I would highly recommend him.

February 04, 2013

After my testing was done, all I was told was the information would go to Dr. Burke. So I really don't know if I'm going to hear from him or what???

November 20, 2012

Dr. Kendall always exlains and informs me very well....

November 19, 2012

Dr Kendall beats Dr Hansen by miles. lol/sorry.

October 22, 2012

appreciate the help

October 16, 2012

I have some background in medical terminology. It is good that they did not talk to me as if I was totally ignorant of things. I understand that the med-speak may need to be simplified for many but I also appreciate it when it is not presented that way to me.

October 08, 2012

the care that is provided me is the best.... I have referred Dr Kendall to friends and family

October 01, 2012

July 30, 2012

The Dr. has always been a good experiance.I am confident in his help with my well-being.

July 26, 2012

I sm a great fan of Dr. Kendall! It is an honor to be his patient.

June 15, 2012

Last time I saw Dr Kendall I was in tears about my back/neck pain and felt very hopeless. This visit I was happy and hopeful that I could live a mostly pain-free life thanks to Dr Kendall.

June 05, 2012

Dr. Kendall looked at the MRI with me, showed me all the details and explained what I was looking at, and then explained about physical therapy rather than spinal injections.

June 05, 2012

Was probably the most informative appointment I have ever had regarding my back. My copay is $50 and it was probably the best $50 I have spent in a long time in a dr visit. I left with a great understanding of what was going on and how to move forward. They were also very friendly and nice

May 09, 2012

Dr. Kendall was caring, concerned, and gave me the attention I needed.

April 21, 2012

I have recomended several people to Dr Kendall over the years. I trust Dr Kendall

February 17, 2012

I have complete confidence in all of the Doctors who have and are treating me at the Medical Center.

February 17, 2012

Dr.Kendall is a very good doctor and has seen me for a couple years. He understands where I'm coming from, but the only problem is his outlook is that I can do anything and nothing at the same time. Meaning he is very optimistic about my abilities, but very cautious about what I should be doing.

January 14, 2012

I have been to several doctors about my pain, including another doctor there and MOST doctors just stick a needle in your hip and send you on y your way. It is very impersonal. They do not want to figure out what is actually going on. Dr kendall spent a lot of time with me discussing possible problems, problems that no one had addressed in 6 years. He has restored my faith in doctors.

January 14, 2012

The physician kept looking at his watch the entire visit. We felt like we were rushed with the appointment and decisions. I don't feel like all of our questions were answered or our concerns addressed adequately. We drove over 3 hours for the appointment and can not easily return for other questions or concerns so it was important to us to get definite answers while we were there.

January 11, 2012

He talked too fast. He used medical terms that most laymen would not be familar with, when I asked to explain, he talked too fast again! Frustrating!

January 05, 2012

Doctor Kendall is very learned and experienced in what he does. It's great working with him.
