Sofwave Skin Tightening

Skin Tightening Without Needles or Surgery

Tighten loose skin and reduce fine lines without surgery. Sofwave uses ultrasound technology to stimulate collagen while protecting the surface of your skin. It can improve skin laxity and reduce fine lines with little to no downtime. This means no needles or surgery, just noticeable results.

Sofwave treatments can:

  • Lift eyebrows
  • Lift tissue under the chin and neck
  • Improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

Is Sofwave Right for Me?

Sofwave may be a good option if you want to improve mild to moderate skin laxity without surgery.

Call 801-581-2955 to schedule a consultation with a University of Utah Health cosmetic specialist. They can help determine if Sofwave is right for you. They can also decide if it may improve the appearance of acne scars, cellulite, or skin laxity in other areas.

What to Expect During Treatment

Before Sofwave treatment, your care team cleans the treatment area and may apply a topical numbing cream if needed. During treatment, you’ll feel brief sensations of warmth from the ultrasound energy.

Most appointments last between 30 and 45 minutes.

Recovery After Sofwave

Sofwave requires little to no recovery time. Most patients return to work and normal activities the same day. Makeup and sunscreen can typically be applied as directed by your provider.

You may notice mild redness or swelling immediately after treatment, but this usually goes away within a few hours.

When Will I See Results?

Some patients notice improvements within the first few weeks.

Your best results develop over the next 8–12 weeks as your body produces new collagen. Results may last up to a year, although individual results vary.
