University of Utah Health announced it has been named by Vizient as a 2018 Top Performer in the Sourcing and Resource Management in the Supply Chain Management Excellence Award category. University of Utah Hospital was one of ten Vizient member hospitals chosen for their innovative project or initiative that improved supply chain performance in the last 12 to 18 months.

It is another great example of how health systems are working to provide the most cost-effective care for their patients and we are proud to recognize their achievement," said Jody Hatcher, president sourcing and collaboration services for Vizient.
University of Utah Health was recognized for the successful transition to a centralized Print Management Cost Per Copy program. The results of the program were a significant reoccurring savings with an ongoing impact on equipment standardization, toner inventory reduction, consolidated expense reporting and a centralized service call solution with the ITS team.
