Dr. Vanhorn is great at listening to and addressing any of my concerns. This is my first pregnancy, and I am amazed at how patient she is with me. She goes the extra mile to assure me everything is going as expected. She has a great balance of high energy friendliness and seriousness about medical issues. I absolutely love her!

I wish I could see my doctor and build a relationship with her. It is hard to get to know someone in just one visit. I not feel like any doctor should have more patients than they are able to see. I want to be more than just a number. I value relationship.

I have enjoyed working with all the NP's and Dr. Vanhorn. They have kept me well informed. Have been very courteous and professional. I felt that they have showed good concern and listen when I talk with them about any concerns I may have. I felt that they addressed my questions very thoroughly. I like that they always take the time to sit and listen to me. It makes me feel more valued as a patient.

I appreciated Dr. Van Horn calling me, herself, to let me know the results of my test.

I have only met my OB once at my 1st appt. (after waiting 2 1/2 hours), since then, I have only been seen by a NP for 30 weeks of my pregnancy. I was not happy with the care I was receiving, so I switched to a new OB at 31 weeks. I am VERY happy now.

Dr. Vanhorn has such great enthusiasm why showing genuine concern. A nice combination. She is attentive and patient with my many questions. Love her!

These comments all apply to the care provided by Dr. Trauscht Van Horn who was excellent. I had far less confidence in the PA who saw me prior to the Dr. visit.

I have never had the MD or the midwife talk to me about nutrition or appropriate weight gain during my pregnancy. Why isn't this part of the standard?

Kathleen Frame was great at listening to my problem and desire for treatment. I felt very safe in her care and appreciated her listening to me so well.

The doctor was excellent - very professional, intelligent, and caring. In addition, she takes the time to explain the procedures as she is performing them and to listen patiently to any of my concerns. Could not ask for a better Ob/Gyn - a credit to this hospital and its community of doctors.

I love Dr. Van Horn. She is extremely competent and pleasant and I always feel my questions answered and that I've been well taken care of in her care.

Dr. Van Horn is always nice, and always answers my question. However, I am 30 weeks pregnant, and have only had 2 appointments with her. The rest have been with either the midwife or a nurse practitioner. Since I am in my last trimester, I now always request to be seen by Dr. Van Horn. However, I feel that I should not have to ask to be seen by my doctor- I feel that I should be seen by my doctor at all of my appointments, unless she is sick or on vacation.

Dr Van Horn is awesome. She is very caring and informative.

I think the staff and providers in Clinic 4 should have an in-service about the Hypnobirthing class offered at the U hospital.

My friends need a gynecologist familiar with problems experienced by older women. I would recommend Jennifer to someone who is pregnant or of childbearing age. She did refer me to a neurologist. I'd like to know about the specialties of different gynecologists.

I was scared to death of the LEEP procedure. Dr. Vanhorn and the Nurse were able to sedate me and I am so grateful. I feel they went out of their way and showed genuine concern for my health. I cannot thank you enough for making this tolerable, you promised it would be and I can't thank you enough for your care and concern!

I would recommend the nurse I saw, but not my doctor that I was supposed to see.

Dr. Van horn was wonderful, and actually called me at home later to follow up on the appointment.

I love Dr. Van Horn, she is very attentive to my needs and always listens! I also love seeing Rita and Kathleen, they are always helpful and I trust them with my care. Awesome team!!

My only complaint is how busy she is. Excellent otherwise.

Nurse Practioner was super nice and helped me with all my questions that I was worried about. I would totally recommend Dr. Vanhorn and her nurse practioner to anyone. :)

The doctor was thorough and considerate. She gave good explanations and was open to questions. It was a positive experience.

I thought she was very nice. She answered all my questions and went over my medications and what to do with them with my medical history.

I really like my doctor though and liked the midwife I saw also.

It has been ~9 months since I last saw Dr. Van Horn. She clearly reviewed my chart and my history before I met with her -- there were details about my history (both medical and personal) that she knew and asked about when we talked. Her attention to detail made me feel extremely well cared for. I have already recommended her to friends of mine, and I will continue to do so!

I would highly recommed Vanhorn to anyone! She is very thoughtful and helps me out on things i need answered and my concerns.

She is an excellent doctor so I have no problems waiting to get an appointment or waiting in the waiting room.

The PA is always so welcoming and happy! The NP is so nice and calming to help me with my answers. the Doctor (vanhorn) is just so happy and always has a smile on her face which i love to see that makes me know she loves her job and what she does is what

What is not to love about Dr. Vanhorn?? She is so positive and caring - I love her! I felt that all of my questions were answered, and she followed up on my labs. I feel fortunate to have her as my physician.

The appointment only lasted 5 minutes so there wasn't that much discussed. Just a normal monthly check-up.

Had a wonderful experience with physician.

I didn't get much time with the Doctor herself because the clinic was very busy. I understand this however, and was not angry or annoyed. I just dont know her well enough to say if I'm confident or not in her and if I would recommend her.

My past three visits were with NPs, they were all great, but I do want to see the doctor herself, so maybe space out the doctor's times with NPs so I feel I get seen by the doctor herself more often.

It would be nice if the providers use some diagram to explain things since everything was done by orally.

I have had very very good experiences with Dr. Van Horn, and have already recommended her to a number of my friends.
