Liposuction is a cosmetic procedure that helps improve your body image and appearance by reducing fatty deposits. Both women and men choose liposuction to contour (or shape and define) areas of their body that don’t respond to diet and exercise.

As cosmetic professionals, we understand that the decision to have liposuction is a personal one. As a patient, you want the best service available.

Our specialists can help you evaluate your personal goals using liposuction and create the best customized plan that fits your needs.

Areas of the body that respond best to liposuction have good skin elasticity and small amounts of excess skin. These areas include the following:

  • Buttocks
  • Hips
  • Stomach
  • Love handles
  • Back
  • Arms
  • Neck
  • Thighs
  • Calves
  • Ankles
  • Breasts (in both men & women)

Kybella Liposuction

Banish Your Double Chin

Kybella is liposuction in a needle. More simply put, it is an FDA-approved treatment for that pesky pocket of fat under the chin, commonly called the double chin. Many patients get a sharper jaw and neckline with just a few injections—in other words, without surgery.

How Kybella Works

Kybella is deoxycholic acid, a secondary bile salt, found naturally in the body. When doctors inject Kybella directly into fatty tissue, the deoxycholic acid destroys and dissolves your fat cells. After these cells are destroyed, they can’t store or accumulate fat anymore.

The area is typically numbed with either topical or injected numbing medicine such as lidocaine. Your doctor will then inject Kybella directly into the fat pad under the chin. Since fat cells don’t regenerate after the treatment, doctors don’t expect patients will need more treatments, even if a patient later experiences weight gain.

Expected side effects from the treatment include mild redness, bruising, and swelling in the treated area. Some patients have mild discomfort with a bruise-like sensation. These side effects last anywhere from three to seven days on average.

Most patients need two to four treatment sessions for the best results.
