Visiting U of U Health Hospitals and Clinics

Updated Dec 2022

There is no higher priority at University of Utah Health than giving patients, visitors, providers, staff, and students a safe place to work, learn, visit, and be treated.

With Utah currently experiencing fewer COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations, and deaths, the Visiting Policy at U of U Health Hospitals and Clinics has been updated. These adjustments are based on careful thought from our infectious disease experts and in close partnership with health experts at the state, county, and city levels. U of U Health will continually review the latest COVID-19 information and trends, and may make changes to keep our communities safe and preserve the best interest of our patients.

At this time, the following Visiting Policy is in place at U of U Health Hospitals and Clinics, and Huntsman Cancer Hospital(Guidelines in individual units or clinics are determined by that area's clinical care team and may be subject to change.)
