What to Expect During Treatment
Before Sofwave treatment, your care team cleans the treatment area and may apply a topical numbing cream if needed. During treatment, you’ll feel brief sensations of warmth from the ultrasound energy.
Most appointments last between 30 and 45 minutes.
Recovery After Sofwave
Sofwave requires little to no recovery time. Most patients return to work and normal activities the same day. Makeup and sunscreen can typically be applied as directed by your provider.
You may notice mild redness or swelling immediately after treatment, but this usually goes away within a few hours.
