Medicaid Dental Care Near You
The University of Utah School of Dentistry School of Dentistry (UUSOD) is now partnering with Utah’s Department of Medicaid Health and Financing to provide dental care. We, alongside our Associated Providers, are devoted to bringing high quality care to all Utahns. Our program has over 300 Associated Providers throughout the state. You can now find a dentist near you that accepts Medicaid.
It is your responsibility to ask the dental office if they are currently taking Medicaid patients.
Endodontic Care for Patients with Medicaid
University of Utah School of Dentistry offers endodontic care for individuals with Medicaid. Treatment is provided by U of U Health dental students under the supervisions of licensed dentists. You must have a referral to receive endodontic treatment. Ask your provider to submit a referral for you.
You should expect 2–3 visits to complete your care. Each appointment will be roughly four hours in length. You will return to your referring provider for continued care after your endodontic treatment.
