Lisa Davis joined the Midwives with BirthCare HealthCare at the University of Utah December 2009. She received her Masters in Nurse-Midwifery and Women’s Health from the University of Utah in May 2008 and has been practicing full scope midwifery since then. She currently sees patients at University Neighborhood Partners - Hartland Clinic, South Main Teen Mom clinic, and attends births at University of Utah Hospital.
Her areas of clinical interest include international maternal & child health. She recently spent 6 months working for Doctors Without Borders in Bangladesh. Her other international humanitarian experiences include volunteer work at a birth center on the border of Mexico, and teaching neonatal resuscitation to midwives in Swaziland, South Africa. She is passionate about providing midwifery care and empowering women during their childbearing experiences and throughout their lives.
