Lisa Schweitzer is an ASHA certified Speech Language Pathologist with expertise in cognitive communication disorders related to Traumatic Brain Injury and Post Concussion Syndrome, Stroke (CVA), Brain Tumor, Dementia and other neurological disorders. Lisa coordinates the Outpatient TBI team with a well rounded, multi-discipline treatment approach that focuses on returning clients to life in their community with the highest level of independence possible. Lisa is licensed to provide services in the surrounding states of Idaho, Nevada and Wyoming, as well as rural Utah, through telepractice.

Lisa received her Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Minot State University and has worked in inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings as well a post acute day treatment center. She has presented regionally and nationally on the topics of cognitive linguisitic deficits as a result of TBI and differential diagnosis of aphasia. She has served on the Conference Planning Committee and the Board of Directors for the Brain Injury Alliance of Utah and has received the Outstanding Professional Award from BIAU.
