Karen Buchi, MD is a Professor of Pediatrics and Chief of the Division of General Pediatrics at the University of Utah. In addition to her administrative responsibilities, she cares for pediatric patients at South Main Clinic which is a collaboration between the University of Utah and the Salt Lake Valley Health Department that provides care to underserved women and children. Her research and advocacy interests are focused on maternal substance use and the drug-endangered child.
