Holly K. Chiodo, PT is the Founder and Program Coordinator of the Pilates Clinic at the University of Utah Orthopeadic Center (UOC). She has served as a leader in this role since 2012. She practices as a clinician and Pilates instructor at the University of Utah treating and teaching patients how to master the skills of core health to treat and prevent orthopaedic injury. She graduated from the University of Utah Physical Therapy Program in 2003 and then furthered her training by certifying as a Pilates Instructor through the Pilates Method Alliance and Polestar Pilates Education in 2007. Her primary interests include whole person wellness, back care, sports psychology, injury prevention, and teaching private and group Pilates classes that are personable, fun, and challenging. She created a Pilates for Back Care Mat Class through the Life Long Learning Department and continues to teach in specialized workshops for the community and her patients. She publishes a monthly newsletter and blog to provide education on the best approaches to manage injuries with Pilates.
