Bio

Dr. Greenberg received his medical degree from UC Davis School of medicine, completed his Pediatric residency at University of Utah, School of Medicine/Primary Children's Medical Center, and his Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at University of Colorado Health Sciences/The Children's Hospital, Denver . He has been on faculty at the University of Utah, School of Medicine since 2005. He is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Since 2009 Dr. Greenberg has worked part time in a general community pediatric clinic in Draper- South Summit Pediatrics. Dr. Greenberg continues to work in the Emergency Department at Primary Children's Medical Center as well.

He is currently an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah and is in the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Primary Children ´s Medical Center.

His main academic and research interests include sepsis and the evaluation of fever in infants.

Dr. Greenberg continues to work in the Emergency Department at Primary Children's Medical Center as well. He is currently an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah and is in the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Primary Children ´s Medical Center.

Dr. Greenberg has been involved in several research projects during his career. His main research and academic focus has been on pediatric sepsis. He helped develop a protocol to identify and treat sepsis in children for Primary Children’s Medical Center. Dr. Greenberg has presented this research at National and International Medical Conferences.

Dr. Greenberg also has interests in the evaluation of newborns with fever. He currently is the site PI for a multicenter study in the Pediatric Emergency Care Applied Research Network (PECARN) evaluating new ways to diagnose infections in febrile infants.
