Dr. Mallory received his undergraduate education at Davidson College and his M.D. from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed residency in pediatrics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences before going to Chapel Hill, NC to complete the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars program, during which he obtained an M.P.H. from the University of North Carolina. He completed his pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at the University of Utah/Primary Children’s Medical Center.
Dr. Mallory joined the staff as an associate professor in 2022. Previously he had been at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, where he served as Medical Director of Operations for Scottish Rite Hospital from 2014 until 2022 and served as Chief of Medicine for the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta system from 2019 until 2022. His research interests have centered around pediatric procedural sedation.
